Elite Audio EA-MANLFH-02 Mini ANL Fuse Holder | Inline Car Amp Fuse Holder
| SKU | EA-MANLFH-02 |
|---|
The Elite Audio EA-MANLFH-02 is a single inline Mini ANL fuse holder built to protect the main power wire in your car audio system. Mini ANL fuses bolt down at both ends, so they make a tighter, lower-resistance connection than push-in glass fuses and stay secure under engine vibration. It is the same style of holder included in our popular Elite Audio amp wiring kits, and it is the go-to replacement when a holder cracks, corrodes or gets lost during an upgrade.

Why Mini ANL Beats Glass Fuses
- Bolt-down contact: The fuse is screwed in place instead of pushed between spring clips, so it does not loosen or arc over time.
- Handles more current: Mini ANL fuses come in higher ratings than typical AGU glass fuses, which suits stronger mono and multi-channel amps.
- Less voltage drop: A solid, low-resistance connection helps your amp get the voltage it needs during heavy bass notes.
- Durable fuse body: No glass tube to crack when the holder takes a knock under the hood.
Running a small system that already uses glass fuses? The EA-AGUFH AGU fuse holder is the matching option.
Pick the Right Mini ANL Fuse
The fuse protects your power cable, so its rating should never exceed what your wire can safely carry. It should also cover your amplifier's total fuse rating. A quick rule of thumb for a Class D amp is to divide its total RMS power by about 10 to estimate current draw in amps. Elite Audio nickel plated Mini ANL fuses come in 5 packs in these ratings:
| Fuse Rating | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| 60A to 80A | Small 4-channel or mono amps on 8 gauge wire |
| 100A to 125A | Mid-power systems on 4 gauge wire |
| 150A to 175A | Higher-power systems on larger wire |
These ranges are a starting point. Always check your wire's rating and your amplifier manual before choosing a fuse.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal before you start.
- Mount the holder close to the battery, ideally within 18 inches of the positive terminal, on a solid surface away from heat and moving parts.
- Terminate the wire properly. Use Elite Audio cable ferrules on stranded wire so every strand makes contact.
- Tighten the set screws and fuse bolts firmly, then close the cover before reconnecting the battery.
- Install the fuse last, after the power wire is fully routed and connected at the amplifier.
Building a New System?
If you need more than a fuse holder, our complete kits include one along with every wire you need. The Elite Audio 4 gauge amp kit comes with a Mini ANL fuse holder and 80A fuse, while the EA-PRMK0 0 gauge kit is built for bigger systems.
FAQ
Can I use it to replace the holder in my amp kit?
Yes. If your kit uses a Mini ANL fuse and your power wire fits the holder, the EA-MANLFH-02 is a direct replacement for a cracked, corroded or missing holder.
Can I use a full-size ANL fuse in this holder?
No. This holder is designed for Mini ANL fuses, which are smaller than standard ANL fuses. Make sure you order the Mini ANL size.
How close to the battery should it go?
As close as practical, ideally within 18 inches of the positive terminal, so nearly the entire power cable is protected.
Is it suitable for marine or powersports use?
It works in any 12V power system, but in wet environments mount it in a protected spot and seal the connections to prevent corrosion.
