The XS Power xMAX 22 is a compact 12-volt lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for car audio systems where space is tight but power demands are high. It supports 2,500 watts of continuous music power and up to 5,000 watts burst, with strong voltage stability and minimal voltage sag under load.
It stores 22.5 amp hours, delivers up to 2,050 amps, weighs 7.8 lbs and comes in a Group U1R size. Fast charge and discharge performance make it a good match for high-output amplifiers and competition-style SPL systems.
The xMAX 22 is meant to be a supplemental battery, ideally paired with other xMAX batteries for more capacity. If you pair it with AGM batteries, XS Power recommends isolating them with a battery isolator and using AGM batteries less than one year old. It requires a lithium-specific charger, accepts up to 130 amps of standalone alternator input, and is not rated for under-hood or marine use.
