Sundown Audio SALT-1 Class D Monoblock Amplifier - 1000W RMS at 1 Ohm, Linkable to 2000W at 2 Ohms
The Sundown Audio SALT-1 is a Class D monoblock amplifier from the SALT (Sundown Audio Low-Voltage Technology) series, built to make its power at realistic voltages in the 12-volt range. It produces 1000 watts RMS at 1 ohm, 500 watts at 2 ohms and 250 watts at 4 ohms, all tested at 12.8V with under 1% THD.
Two SALT-1 amps can be linked (strapped) for 2000 watts RMS at 2 ohms. A 24 dB variable subsonic filter (10-50 Hz), a 24 dB variable low pass filter (35-250 Hz), bass boost at 45 Hz (0-9 dB) and 0-180 degree phase control let you tune the bass to your car.
Power, clipping and protection indicators sit on the amp, and thermal, voltage, speaker short and DC-offset protection are built in. The included wired remote shows voltage, temperature and clipping.
