Sundown Audio SALT-1.5 Class D Monoblock Amplifier - 1500W RMS at 1 Ohm, Linkable to 3000W at 2 Ohms
The Sundown Audio SALT-1.5 is a digital Class D linkable monoblock amplifier from the SALT (Sundown Audio Low-Voltage Technology) series, designed to make its rated power at realistic 12-volt levels instead of needing 14 volts or more. It delivers 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohm, 750 watts at 2 ohms and 400 watts at 4 ohms, tested at 12.8V with under 1% THD.
Link two SALT-1.5 amps for 3000 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Tuning is handled by a 24 dB variable subsonic filter (10-50 Hz), a 24 dB variable low pass filter (35-250 Hz), bass boost at 45 Hz (0-9 dB) and phase control from 0 to 180 degrees.
On-board power, clipping and protection indicators, plus thermal, voltage, speaker short and DC-offset protection, keep the amp safe. The included wired remote displays voltage, temperature and clipping.
