DS18 PRO-DRNSC1.5DK PRO 1" Neodymium Compression Driver and Horn Kit - 160W, 1.5" Voice Coil, 8-Ohm DS18
The DS18 PRO-DRNSC1.5DK is a 1-inch throat neodymium compression driver that comes with its horn already attached, so it is ready to install. It is rated at 80 watts AES, 160 watts program and 320 watts peak at 8 ohms.
A 1.5-inch voice coil and polyimide diaphragm cover 1 kHz to 20 kHz, with 111 dB sensitivity measured with the horn. The neodymium magnet keeps the driver compact so it fits where bulkier ferrite drivers will not, and drop-in voice coils make repairs quick if it is ever overpowered.
The round aluminum horn is 3.15 inches across with 60 degrees of coverage. Mounting depth is 2.22 inches with a 2.75-inch mounting hole, and DS18 recommends a 2 kHz high-pass crossover.
