The DS18 DXQ6C3N is a 3-way component set that uses neodymium magnets in its midrange and tweeter. It is rated at 180 watts RMS at 4 ohms and covers 35 Hz to 20 kHz.
The 6.5-inch woofer uses a yellow straw and composite foam cone that stays light yet stiff, for tight bass and midbass with low distortion. A 3.5-inch neodymium midrange with a composite cone handles vocals and instruments, and a 2.2-inch silk dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet adds crisp, smooth highs that cut through road noise.
The included 3-way passive crossover splits the signal at 800 Hz and 3.8 kHz so each driver plays only its range. The woofer needs just 3.4 inches of mounting depth, and the compact midrange and tweeter fit most factory locations and custom mounts.
