DS18 DXQ6.9CX DXQ 6x9" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers - 150W RMS, 4-Ohm, Silk Dome Tweeter (Pair) DS18
The DS18 DXQ6.9CX is a 6x9-inch 2-way coaxial speaker from the sound-quality focused DXQ series. Each speaker handles 150 watts RMS and covers 35 Hz to 20 kHz, giving full-range sound from a single location.
The composite woofer cone rides on a durable rubber surround and is driven by a 1.2-inch voice coil at a 4-ohm nominal impedance. A 1-inch silk diaphragm tweeter with a neodymium magnet handles the highs for smooth, detailed treble.
DS18 recommends a 60 Hz high-pass crossover, and improved heat dissipation helps the speakers hold up over long listening sessions. They are sold as a pair for a complete left and right upgrade.
