Deaf Bonce Avatar PS-1000.1 is a compact monoblock amplifier built for one job: driving subwoofers hard and keeping them under control. It makes 1,000W RMS at 1 Ohm, 750W at 2 Ohm and 480W at 4 Ohm, from a chassis only 9.37" long and 2.05" tall. That makes it easy to fit under a seat, behind a rear seat or on the back of a sub box, which is a big win for trucks, hatchbacks and daily drivers where space is tight.

It also has the controls a subwoofer system needs: adjustable gain, a 10 to 55 Hz subsonic filter, a 50 to 250 Hz low pass filter and 0 to 180 degree phase control. High level inputs let you add it to a factory radio, and a damping factor of 300 keeps bass tight and punchy instead of loose and boomy.

Bass Controls and How to Set Them

• Low Pass Filter (50 to 250 Hz): Sets where your sub stops playing. Around 80 Hz is a good starting point for most systems.
• Subsonic Filter (10 to 55 Hz): Cuts ultra-low frequencies your sub can't use, which protects it from over-excursion. Set it a few Hz below your box tuning frequency.
• Phase Control (0 to 180 degrees): Aligns your subwoofer with your front speakers, so the bass sounds like it's coming from up front instead of the trunk.
• Gain: Matches the amp to your head unit's output. Set it to your source voltage, not to full, to avoid clipping.

Installation Notes

• Power wiring: The terminals accept up to 4 AWG power and ground cable. For 1,000W RMS, a 4 AWG OFC kit is the right choice.
• Fuse: Always install an inline fuse on the power wire within 18 inches of the battery.
• Factory radio friendly: High level inputs accept 2.5 to 11V, so you can connect to OEM speaker wires without a line output converter.
• Aftermarket ready: RCA inputs accept 0.2 to 6V from any head unit or DSP.
• Voltage range: Runs from 9 to 16.5V, so it stays stable under heavy bass hits and works with a high output alternator.

FAQ's

Will the PS-1000.1 make 1000 watts with my subwoofer?

Only when your subwoofers are wired to a final 1 Ohm load. At 2 Ohm it delivers 750W RMS, and at 4 Ohm it delivers 480W RMS. Use the wiring table above to plan your setup.

Can I use this amp with a factory radio?

Yes. The high level inputs connect directly to factory speaker wires, so no line output converter is needed.

Is the Avatar PS-1000.1 good for two subwoofers?

Yes. Two single 2 Ohm subs or two dual 4 Ohm subs can be wired to 1 Ohm for the full 1,000W RMS, which gives each sub about 500W RMS.
