Why 102.8 dB Makes Such a Difference
Every 3 dB of extra sensitivity is roughly the same as doubling your amplifier power. What is the difference between the AP-M61SE and the AP-M61SE PRO?
The PRO handles 150W RMS instead of 130W, plays at 102.8 dB instead of 101.5 dB, and uses a slightly larger 1.3 inch voice coil (versus 1.25 inch). You get more headroom and more output for about $10 extra.
Will they work with my factory radio?
They will play and will likely sound louder than your factory speakers, but they are designed for amplifier power. A small 4-channel amp gets the most out of them.
Do they play bass?
They give punchy upper midbass, but deep bass belongs to a subwoofer. High-pass them around 120 Hz for the cleanest sound.
